How was first day's work as airport guides going about? Well, i can say that it was fun! I got to roam around T2 transit that very day i was working. (Don't tell the CAAS people cause I might get fired!) Let's not talk about the working part first. We were told to know the place by the palm of our hands. By doing so, each of us( me and a partner) were given a specific amount of time to roam around the T2 transit. Helping lost passengers and guiding them on our way too. This had trained me to handle difficult and lost customers.
I really love the place in the transit even though I'm only situated at Terminal 2 and not 3. That is because every time i step into the transit, i feel as if im flying off to another country. =) It gives me the extra enthusiasm to help passengers around the place.
So far, my first day was a real success. Not much difficult customers and i was able to attend to most of the troubled customers around the transit areas. This gives mie an a boost in continuing in this job and wanting to help more passengers in the days to come.
Overall, it's wild, it's cool, and it's fun!
