counting down days to examination

These days have been rather demoralising as i start preparing for my final semestral exams.
What i found out was that i have so much stuffs dat i am still not sure how to do. Time really past so fast.
Next week will be my first theory paper: ckt.
Well, this sub is my weakest subject of all and i am rather worried for it.
I am gonna tell myself to start revising seriously and not to get any distractions from playing com games and watching 7 o'clock and 9 o 'clock shows.
Gonna Chiong like mad.
Coming up with a new song soon. Think think think.

NDP

Yo. 9 of August is national day! And this is how i spend that day. Wake up late in the noon feeling so goon. Can't help it. It's just so soon. Well, it's NDP day.. and everyone should be feeling happy for our country SINGAPORE! Playing a part in the role of the Largest Singapore flag ever made using umbrellas..
So yea.. this is how it goes..

Here's the goodie bags that we took. The new bags have interchangeable colours, giving us a wide varieties of different kinds of cool bags.

I know. I know all of u are thinking that i am taking a pic of that gal. Well,in fact i was actually taking a pic of the channel newsasia's reporter and her camera man.Lol.

Wow! wad a nice view here. All the umbrellas are getting ready for the big occasion.

Whole lot of ppl under the sun. That includes mie. its sweltering hot on that day.

Waterpolo

I am getting rather tired with blogging and i don't know why. Partly because its rather inconvenient for mie to think and type simultaneously and i also feel very uncomfortable every time i sit in front of the computer. Well, the other reason could be there might not be anyone reading my blog cos its too boring, too dull, too unnatural, too dead and its only on my point of view. Yup. So why should i be blogging everyday. Wouldn't it be a waste of precious time when one can take a nap, study and play guitar during this period of time? One can compose lot more songs and think about more stuffs at this time. However, out of all this reason, somehow i find blogging is worth the effort, but make it once a week. This will help you have a more precised thinking of what u are going to blog the next week and thus eliminate the time blogging crap online. Anyways, this is my way of thinking, my point of view and my perspective.

Alright, i shall cut the crap and go straight to my topic for today: Waterpolo.

This guy's incredible. Can't believe he can really 'jump' so high in water. Since this guy is taking up the space in my blog, i shall talk about how he actually jump out of water without touching the floor of the pool ( that is if he is cheating =P).
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE EGG-BEATER- Egg beater, also known as the alternate leg kicking, is one of the crucial skill that all waterpolo players must master it well. It is this skill that can actually make 'this guy' in the pic to rise so high! Well, in concise, egg-beater kick is easy to say but difficult to do. It involves alternate rotation of the knees and continuous scarling of the ankles to perform the egg-beater. It often seems to be like two turbines operating alternately to give the body the push to stay afloat. When one masters the egg-beater, heh, he is able to become that guy in the pic. Errmm..However, more skills are required to handle the ball well and to shoot.
As a waterpolo player myself, even though i know how to swim, i still find it quite tough to stay afloat at times. It took me months to figure out the correct way of the egg-beater kick. With the help of my seniors and tough endurance training, i finally can stay afloat.
THE SKILLS: BALL HANDLING- handling a ball on land is a piece of cake for mie, but in water, i would rather drown then to handle it.( joking la, exaggerated) Ball handling is not as easy as it seems to be as it involves the cooperation of two players handling the ball with each other. It takes team work to assist the ball towards the goal and to get it right into the goal post.

TRAINING- A typical waterpolo competition is super strenuous. More strenuous then any other sports i know. It uses many body muscles and train almost all parts of the body. It even trains the tongue as we need to shout to 'attract' attention.

Waterpolo- a sport which is strenuous yet its fun! Trust mie, once u get the hang of it, its really worth the strain. To add on, its not like any ball-related sports which u sweat like hell to get the ball. Waterpolo is in water! Remember? Yea, so u don't sweat, oh ya, WE DON'T SWEAT, WE PERSPIRE!
